Reverse the AI in corporate email. Detect whether a message was written by AI, AI-assisted, or by a human. When AI was involved, guess the prompt the sender probably gave an LLM. Classify urgency, extract the actual intent, name scam patterns (invoice fraud / BEC, phishing, fake recruiters, conference scams, crypto / MLM pitches). Output mirrors the email's language. Handles single messages, threads, and batches.

Choose how to use this skill

You do not need every option. Choose the path your AI client supports. The stable page stays the same; versioned files are immutable.

1. Native installer

This listing has no registered native installer command. Use the complete package or source fallback below, depending on what your client supports.

Do not guess an installer command or replace an existing version without reviewing the diff.

2. Complete package recommended

Download the ZIP when available. It includes SKILL.md plus the references, security notes and version metadata.

No complete ProSkills package is published for this listing yet.

3. Prompt-only

Copy the prompt above when the agent can read the stable page or when you want to adopt the workflow without installing a skill.

Need only the instruction file?

Download SKILL.md only if your client requires a single file. The complete ZIP is safer for a full installation because it preserves the references and release context.

No path installs or executes anything by itself. Your agent still needs access to the project files. Before updating, compare the installed version and review the diff.

// README

@defluff/openclaw-skill

An Openclaw skill that extracts the actual intent of an email into 3–5 bullets, using the same fixed prompt wording as the browser extension and Outlook add-in.

The skill is pure markdown + YAML — no executable code. Openclaw's configured agent follows the instructions in SKILL.md using whatever model the user has set up locally.

Install

From the Openclaw CLI:

# copy into your local skills directory
mkdir -p ~/.openclaw/workspace/skills/defluff
cp SKILL.md ~/.openclaw/workspace/skills/defluff/

Or publish to ClawHub from the repo root:

pnpm skill:publish

This reads the version: field from SKILL.md frontmatter and invokes clawhub publish with the right flags. First time publishing? Run clawhub login once before. Bump the version in SKILL.md each release.

See the Openclaw skills docs for details on discovery and updates.

Usage

Once installed, invoke with a chat prompt like:

/defluff [paste email here]

Or (with user-invocable: true, which is set in the frontmatter) as a slash command in Openclaw's chat interface.

The skill handles three input shapes:

InputOutput
Single email3–5 bullets in priority order (actions → questions → facts → intent)
Thread (multiple messages, same conversation)Per-message bullets + consolidated Actions section with attribution
Batch (unrelated emails)Per-email bullets + Triage section (Act now / Reply needed / FYI / Noise)

Noise comes in two flavors. Scam NOISE (invoice fraud / BEC, phishing, fake recruiter, fake interview, conference scam, crypto / MLM pitch) emits 2–4 bullets naming the specific red flags the reader should see — unfamiliar sender domain, fake forwarded approval chain, urgency + payment redirect, sender impersonation, date inconsistencies. Other NOISE (newsletters, auto-replies, automated system mail, generic outreach) collapses to a single labelled bullet. The skill will ask "single, thread, or batch?" if the input is ambiguous.
