c-snippet-revision
Run a one-at-a-time C debugging and code-review revision game for interview preparation. Use when the user wants C bug-spotting practice, asks for C snippets to inspect visually, wants mixed difficulty snippet drills, or wants interactive feedback on what is wrong with a C code sample. Supports two levels: (1) short self-contained bug-spotting snippets, and (2) larger multi-function/system-style snippets with realistic ownership, API-contract, error-path, and boundary bugs.
Choose how to use this skill
You do not need every option. Choose the path your AI client supports. The stable page stays the same; versioned files are immutable.
1. Native installer
This listing has no registered native installer command. Use the complete package or source fallback below, depending on what your client supports.
Do not guess an installer command or replace an existing version without reviewing the diff.
2. Complete package recommended
Download the ZIP when available. It includes SKILL.md plus the references, security notes and version metadata.
No complete ProSkills package is published for this listing yet.3. Prompt-only
Copy the prompt above when the agent can read the stable page or when you want to adopt the workflow without installing a skill.
Need only the instruction file?
Download SKILL.md only if your client requires a single file. The complete ZIP is safer for a full installation because it preserves the references and release context.
No path installs or executes anything by itself. Your agent still needs access to the project files. Before updating, compare the installed version and review the diff.

c-snippet-revision
c-snippet-revision is an installable skill for interactive C interview practice through visual code inspection.
It runs a one-at-a-time revision game built around short bug-spotting snippets and larger system-style code fragments. The emphasis is on reasoning clearly about correctness, ownership, boundaries, failure paths, and engineering judgment rather than compiling and running code.
What it does
- presents exactly one C snippet at a time
- supports two difficulty levels:
- Level 1: short, self-contained bug-spotting snippets
- Level 2: larger multi-function or system-style fragments
- gives concise, interview-oriented feedback
- helps sharpen spoken debugging explanations
- supports practical code-review style interview prep
Use cases
Use this skill when you want to:
- practice C debugging by visual inspection only
- rehearse code-review interview questions
- improve bug-spotting speed and precision
- train on ownership, memory safety, bounds, and error-path issues
- get one-snippet-at-a-time interactive feedback instead of bulk problem dumps
How the revision loop works
- get shown one snippet
- get asked:
Tell me what’s wrong with the code presented. - allowed to answer in freeform
- feedback given on:
- what you got right
- what you missed
- how to phrase the answer more sharply
- move to the next snippet

Development notes
This repository contains the source skill directory as well as the packaged .skill artifact.
If you edit the skill, repackage it with the skill creator.
Design goals
- practical, realistic C bugs rather than puzzle trivia
- concise, high-signal feedback
- strong variety across snippet families
- reusable from a cold start without depending on prior chat history
- good support for both ownership-heavy and boundary-heavy debugging problems
